Hi, I’m Kari Petersen

I’m a Qigong practitioner specializing in Qi Medicine. I work with all types of challenges (I.e. chronic pain, cancer, infertility, developmental disorders, autoimmune, stress management & reduction, etc.) and boost and re-boot the body’s own energy system, clearing blockages that lead to health challenges for complete healing - physically, energetically, & spiritually.

I also work with the ancestral plane to heal past, present, & future karmas, work with the energy of the land to bless homes, businesses, and travel endeavors, & offer personalized practices to clients for continued energy balancing & refinement at home.

It is my purpose to share as much healing out into the world as I can. I want everyone to have access to longer, healthier, & more joyful lives.

What is Qigong?

Qigong is a simple, efficient, & effective method for managing stress & chronic pain, regulating the nervous system, & completely healing the physical & emotional subtle energy bodies. An ancient Chinese practice for longevity, qigong combines meditative movements with breath, & visualization to balance your energy on all levels at once.

I practice a modern, highly accessible form of qigong called Spring Forest Qigong, developed by Grand Master Chunyi Lin. Spring Forest Qigong combines simple movements, along with breath, guided meditation, & visualization to clear all the energy centers & channels, while both cultivating, balancing, & refining your Qi (vital life force energy).

How Energy Healing Works

From the Qi perspective, health challenges can result from blockages in the energy channels (meridians) & centers. Following the Five Elements Theory, a cornerstone of Chinese Medicine, these blockages form from seasonal changes, emotional upsets, injuries, illnesses, past karmas, & even the foods we eat. During a healing session we discuss your specific challenges, followed by an intuitive healing where I detect your current state of vital energy & any blockages you may have - places where Qi no longer flows freely - & remove them without physical touch.

Qigong FAQs

  • Qigong is a moving meditation originating in ancient China over 5,000 years ago as a slow dance for longevity. As energetic beings, we have energy channels (meridians) within us where our Qi, the very life force energy, flows freely. Sometimes blockages form along these channels when we experience life challenges, changing seasons, deep emotions, injuries, even the food we eat. From the Qi perspective, when blockages are left without being transformed, they can grow into illness.

    Combined conscious breathing & visualization techniques, with or without movement, Qigong allows us to keep energy channels open so Qi flows freely, in turn helping us live longer, happier, more joyful lives. Qigong is true preventative healthcare for longevity & it is a simple practice absolutely everyone can do!

  • Smooth-flowing, balanced Qi is vital to our wellbeing. Qigong clears energy blockages that form on every level - physical, mental, & spiritual - all at once without the help of an energy healer. However, if you have larger blockages or have specific health challenges that you’d like help addressing, an intuitive healing session may be just what you need.

  • Beginners benefit from practicing Qigong, & Spring Forest Qigong in particular, for its simplified form anyone can do consisting of gentle movements, specific breathing techniques, & mental focus. Everyone can benefit from it, & anyone can practice even if you have limited mobility & you can’t physically do the movements, the visualization of the practice alone is the same as if you were physically doing the movements & will benefit you greatly.

  • Traditionally, a person studies under a Qigong Master for most of their life to learn the skills necessary for transformational healing. With the belief that everyone is born a healer, Grand Master Chunyi Lin has developed Spring Forest Qigong - a modern, simplified, highly accessible form of this ancient Chinese practice for energy balancing & healing . Efficiently & effectively targeting blockages within the Qi system for complete healing on all levels - body, mind, & spirit - but in a way that is simple to learn & practice daily, now we can have a healer in every home!

  • Both in-person & remote sessions are powerful healing experiences - the energy is not bound by time-space continuum. Please choose the option that best fits your needs based on your geographical location & personal comfort.

    We begin by discussing your specific health challenge(s) & goals, followed by an intuitive healing session either in-person or remote.

    If remote, I call you at the time of your scheduled appointment to discuss your specific health challenges & goals. We then hang up the phone, you relax & get comfortable either seated or lying down. No need to meditate, simply close your eyes & be open while I tune into your biofield for a remote intuitive healing session, read your current state of vitality, clear, & balance your energy. I will then call you to bring you out of deep relaxation, debrief, & share any recommendations gathered throughout your session.

    If we are in-person you’ll lie down, close your eyes if comfortable, & relax. I either sit or stand while tuning into your biofied & intuitively detect your body’s current state of health & vitality, work to transform any energy blockages, & balance the body’s energy on all levels. This is a no-physical-touch session. I will bring you out of deep relaxation, debrief, & may recommend simple healing movement(s) or meditation(s) to support your ongoing energy balancing.
